• Meredith Kersey is a successful real estate investor and real estate broker (licensed in California and the Commonwealth of Virginia), and a Bar admitted attorney in the State of New York and the District of Columbia with in-depth knowledge of general corporate matters, transactional real estate, and finance having practiced at Top 100 ranking law firms in Washington, DC, and New York, NY.

• She received her Bachelor of Science in Finance (Honors) from the University of Florida and her Law Degree from Duke University School of Law.

• She served as a Real Estate Finance Attorney in Washington, DC from 2005-2011

• Since 2011, she has been a Real Estate Investor / Broker / Sole Proprietor / Writer. She created an inspirational and award-winning real estate investing blog for non-professionals. She was featured on Rockstar Finance, Debt.com, and Bigger Pockets and nominated for a PLUTUS Award for best real estate investing blog at Fin Con 2018.

• Meredith has managed a residential rental portfolio exceeding $10 million in gross value and has brokered numerous sales and purchases of residential and commercial real estate properties throughout the US.

• In her capacity as a lawyer, she has handled a broad range of real estate transactions and general corporate matters, including but not limited to the following:

• Structured financing and negotiated the acquisition and development of various commercial projects, including office, housing, and retail.

• Represented institutional investors, private equity funds, and REITs in their acquisition of various partnership interests in multi-family housing projects across the United States

• Represented developers in structuring affordable housing financing and other tax-credit-driven investments,

• Assisted landlords and tenants in negotiating and drafting office, retail, and residential leases.

Meredith will guide you and advise you on your journey to financial freedom through real estate by sharing her experiences as a successful real estate investor. Meredith retired at an untypical early age due to her investment in real estate, and she looks forward to sharing with you what worked for her.*

As a Transitional Coach (Life and Career Changes)

Meredith has been especially adept at transitioning and overcoming the challenges of personal changes. 

As a transition coach, she will assist her clients through significant life transitions, such as career changes, moving to a new city or country, thriving through divorce or relationship changes, coping with death, aging, or retirement, facing major health challenges, and successfully navigating shifts in identity or life purpose,

Goals in transition coaching:

• Help clients adapt: Assist clients by suggesting creative life skills and self-care solutions. 
• Create a plan: Work with clients to co-create service plans and goals to help them achieve their goals. 
• Build a network: Promote involvement in the local community and other community resources to create change,
• Promote a positive image: Create a safe and nurturing environment to foster and achieve a positive self-image.

• Meredith is a mother to two incredible young adults, of whom she is immensely proud. She owns and manages several rental properties throughout the United States and enjoys her retirement due to those investments. She is determined to remain active and a contributing member of our community; therefore, she enjoys coaching. When not helping her clients achieve their financial, career, or personal goals, she can be found volunteering in her community and enjoying a pint in her local Irish Pub.
